Cabasa Carnival Arts, based at The Vale community arts centre in Mossley, asked me to help them out with one day’s PR for their project Flags For Hope, which saw a community radio station, artists and volunteers translating the hopes and dreams of residents of three Tameside residential homes into some beautiful handpainted flags. Always happy to work within your budget, no matter how small.

Greater Manchester folk will no longer be in the dark about a new annual winter spectacular. The first Mossley Light Festival, 24 November, will see local and international (China and Venezuela) performers and makers come together to create a lantern parade like no other. Things are certainly looking bright in Tameside.
